Brewster Timber Frame Company was founded in 1985 in Brewster, Massachusetts. The heart of the company is myself and a network of skilled craftsmen. I have chosen to keep the company small in order to provide each client the individual, detail-oriented service they deserve.

I moved to Bellvue Colorado in 1998 and brought with me this unique opportunity for you to build your dreams here in the West.

Living in Brewster, on Cape Cod in the heart of New England gave me the opportunity to study and work on several historical timber frame structures including 17th century windmills and several remodels of homes dating as far back as 1680.

The saying which goes “They don’t build them like they used to” is true. Today we build them better. The frames are engineered for better long term stability. Design and building code requirements have made them safer, and more user friendly. Modern materials and construction techniques have made them more energy efficient and comfortable.

The modern Timber Frame is a combination of a historical, common sense construction method and modern materials and methods.

Brewster Timber Frame Company brings to the Rocky Mountain region a fresh way to build your dreams. Long accepted in New England as a common construction method, we can now offer you this time tested and historically pleasing method of building beautiful, long lasting, adaptable structures.

We can provide you with whatever style of frame you desire. From rough cut, hand hewn timbers to oiled and polished smooth-planed timbers with hand carved detailing or even log post and beam structures.

We can provide full frame packages cut, erected and closed in on your site or truss and timber detail packages which can be incorporated into hybrid homes with conventional framing. Or truss packages which can be incorporated into hybrid style homes with conventional framing. Or even a kit package which you can assemble yourself. We also work along home owners and can provide guidance to those who prefer to do it themselves.

Our services include design, construction and assembly services. We can ship frames and coordinate assembly anywhere you need them. We work with local structural engineers and can provide you with stamped plans to take to the building department with the paperwork for your permit process.
